Eleazar Morales: Male Hippo

More fun from Eleazar with this hippo. Eleazar learned from his older brother, Susano Morales, by helping him when he was a teen. Eleazar’s style is unique to him. In the late ’90s, he was just a helper for Susano, not working alone. Now Eleazar’s own kids help him behind the scene. It is common in the carving community for this tradition to evolve and grow from family to family. His range and diversity of work is incredible.
