Bertha Cruz: Rare Bighorn Sheep

Nice sized ram from Bertha Cruz  decorated in Zapotec glyphs with fine dot painting and geometric patterns. We don’t see many of these from her. The work is deceptive – looks simple but on inspection you can see the amazing amount of labor and love that goes into her painting. Ever popular and a great artist too. There are not many collectors who do not have a couple of her pieces in a coveted spot.
