Agustin Jr. takes after his dad (Agustín Cruz Tinoco) as an amazing carver. His wife Carmen Sosa Ojeda painted this one. Mermaids have been part of Oaxacan wood carving since the early days. It’s been a while since we had these and they are so much fun representing the best of the carving and the Cruz family tradition.
